Jason Edward Snakenberg
August 14, 1969— February 15, 2026
Dallas, GA
Jason Snakenberg, age 56, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2026.
Born on August 14, 1969, in Washington, DC, to Dennis and Carla Snakenberg. Jason spent much of his childhood moving from place to place due to his father’s military career. No matter where life took him, he always found his way back to Eldon, Iowa where his grandparents lived and where many of his fondest memories were made.
Jason dedicated many years of his life to his work as a painter, taking great pride in his craft. Most recently, he worked with Jennifer’s Glassworks. He was respected for his strong work ethic, steady hands, and the kindness and consideration he showed to everyone he worked alongside.
Above all, Jason was a devoted father to his only son, Jarred. He found deep joy in the outdoors, a love instilled in him at a young age. Hunting was more than a hobby; it was his way of spending peaceful weekends in the woods. He also had a passion for motorcycles and gardening, finding both freedom and peace in those pursuits. Those who knew Jason will remember his humor, the stories he loved to tell, his strength, and the wisdom he shared so freely.
His sudden passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family and all who loved him.
Jason is survived by his son, Jarred Snakenberg; his father, Dennis (Marcia) Snakenberg; his mother, Carla Snakenberg; his sister, Bethani Kozlowski, his niece, Maranda and his nephew, Hunter.
The family will receive friends on Saturday March 7, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel.
Jason will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
