Janis Kelley Lacy

We bid farewell to Janis Kelley Lacy of Leslie, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 7, 2026 at the age of 73. Janis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Kelley and Allene Bradley Kelley; her sister Carol Vaughan; and her grandson Cody Jones. She is survived by: her husband Layne Lacy; her children, Ryan Lacy (Lauren), Kimberly Dauzat and Terri Jones (Stan); her grandchildren, Jeremy Morgan, Ben Goodin, Rylin Lacy and Lainey Lacy; and her sisters, Linda Trussell (Larry), Debbie Philmon (Russell) and Laura Pittman (Gil). She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (1256 US-280, Americus, GA 31709).
