Janine M. Biron

Janine M. (Hamel) Biron, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Biron, Jr.

Janine found great pleasure in sewing, crafts, and baking sweet treats for family and friends. She was known for her sharp sense of humor and her colorful language, which kept those around her smiling and laughing. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandson, who brought her immense joy.

She is survived by her daughter, Jacklyn William and her husband, James; her son, Joseph Biron III and his wife, Grace; her grandchildren, Sean William, Ethan Biron, and Audrey Biron; and her great-grandson, Chace William. Janine was the daughter of the late Joseph and Juliette (Denis) Hamel. She was the youngest of eleven children and the last surviving member of her siblings.
