Janie Pesina

Janie Pesina passed away in Benson on Sunday afternoon, March 8, 2016, at the age of 73. She was born in Tucson on September 7, 1952, to Pete Pesina and Jessie Rios.

A long-time caregiver in and around the Willcox community, Janie was known for her deeply caring nature. Her greatest love was caring for her grandson Isaac, and she found quiet joy in the art of sewing.

She is survived by her son Ernesto (Katie) Morales and grandson Isaac Morales; her daughter Renee (Juan) Banda; granddaughter Janelle Farmer (Damien Bernal) and great-grandson Maddox Bernal; granddaughter Alyssa (Lala) Farmer; grandson Anthony (Ari) Farmer; and niece and bonus children Margie Farmer and Danny Farmer. She is also survived by her siblings Johnny Pesina, Carol Cason, Frank Pesina, Ruth Amaya, Ramona Henkel, Frances Ortega, Gus Pesina, and Eva Faye Pesina. She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.
