She is preceded in death by Jim Whitehead and Jim Whitehead Jr. Janie is survived by her husband of 30 years, James Perry; her children, Seth Perry, Jessica Brown, and Jennifer Brown; her mother, Shirley Russell; her sister, Melissa Rose; and other family members and friends Julie Rose, Justin Rose, and Jay Rose Jr.
A private burial was held for Janie at Old Piney Cemetery on Friday, March 13, 2026.
