Visitations will be Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem SD. There will be a service for immediate family on Thursday, March 12 2026 at 2:00 pm at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem.She was born to Donald and Veronica (Lampe) Lofswold in Salem SD. Janice grew up in Salem and attended Salem Public School. She worked as a CNA at Colonial Manor in Salem for 4 years. She moved to Sioux Falls and began her employment at Good Samaritan Village for 42 years. She loved caring for the many people she came in contact with. Everyone enjoyed her amazing personality, beautiful smile and love of people. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with family and bowling where she was blessed with many friends. Some of her many hobbies in her later years was assembling puzzles, playing games and donating to the local casinos. But family was her number one priority.Janice is survived by her twin sister Janett, sister Elaine, brothers James, Gary, Wayne, Darrell and Leon and many nieces and nephews.Janice is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Veronica (Lampe) Lofswold and her sister-in-law Karla Lofswold.Janice's family would like to thank everyone for your love, prayers and support over this difficult time.The family will use any donations for a memoial.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
