Janice L. Gonder

Janice L. Gonder, 86, of Green River, Wyoming, died peacefully at her home on March 7, 2026. Born on November 4, 1939, in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John and Edna Yonkovich. She graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1957 after attending Spaulding Elementary, Franklin Junior High, and Aliquippa High School.

On February 8, 1958, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, Janice married John L. Gonder, who passed away on August 1, 2019. A longtime member of the Harvestime Church of Wyoming, she found deep fulfillment in her faith as well as in the simple pleasures of fishing and camping.

Janice is survived by her son, Gary Gonder of Green River; her daughter, Vicki Allen of Manila, Utah; her sisters, Harriet Gonder of Green Valley, Arizona, and Charlotte Hudson of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four aunts; two uncles; twelve cousins; and five nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
