Janice Ilene "Herin" Fairchild

Janice Ilene Fairchild, age 86 of Hesperia, passed away on March 13, 2026 at Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital. She was born on May 1, 1939 in Ferry Township, Michigan to Lloyd and Wilma (Mendham) Herin.

Janice worked at the Star Theatre in Hesperia and at Ed’s Orchard Market. She found joy in knitting, bowling, square dancing, and most of all in the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She married Raymond V. Fairchild on September 21, 1957. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2025, as did her parents, her in-laws Paul “Ferris” and Myrtle Fairchild, her brother Larry Herin, her sister Barbara Jean Herin, her brothers-in-law Dale Fritz, Jerry Heckman, Darwin Buck, and Paul Fairchild Jr., and her sisters-in-law Bonnie Fairchild and Lois Buck.

Janice is survived by her children, Ilene Kay (Troy) Roberson of Hesperia and Bradley Ray (Janet) Fairchild of Hesperia; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Kris) Revoldt of Illinois, Christopher Fairchild of White Cloud, and Jamie (Willard) Oyler of Twin Lake; and her seven great-grandchildren, Quinn and Harper Revoldt, Alexis, Bradley and Leah Fairchild, and Wyatt and Maxton Oyler. She is also survived by her sisters Sandy Fritz and Sherry Heckman, her sisters-in-law Arlene Fairchild and Sue Herin, and her brother-in-law Joe Fairchild.
