Janice E. Libby

Janice E. Libby, 63, of Warwick, passed away on March 8th at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Richard G. and Aileen C. (Stenson) Libby. She lived for many years in East Providence before moving to Warwick fifteen years ago.

Janice worked as a secretary at Verizon for twenty years, retiring in 2004. She is remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Alison J. Libby and Ashley M. Cowell, both of West Warwick. She was the loving grandmother of Tyrone Libby, Jayden Cowell, and Christopher Stephenson Jr. She was the sister of Richard Libby, Jr. and Raymond Libby, and was predeceased by her sisters Virginia Libby and Barbara Espinola.
