Janice Ann Stanley Obituary March 6, 2026 - Ridgeway Funeral Home

Janice Ann Stanley, age 92 of Paris, TN, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.Janice was born on February 14, 1934, in Wheaton, MN, to the late August Schumacher, and the late Ann Johnson Schumacher.On March 6, 1954, she married Everett Stanley. Everett preceded her in death on September 10, 2020.Janice was a member of Midway Grace Church in Murray, Kentucky. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed reading and cooking. Always thinking of others first, she was often the last to sit down to eat, making sure everyone else had plenty. Janice deeply loved her family and was known for her kind and caring spirit.Janice is survived by two children, Jana (Jeff) Webb and Keith E. Stanley, both of Paris, TN; one grandson, Chase Webb; sisters-in-law, Mary Morgan of Paris, TN, Cindy (Ron) Marino of Paris, TN, Linda Stanley of Paris, TN, Sheri Stanley of Rockford, TN, Sue Stanley of Rockford, TN, and Erika Stanley of CA; and a brother-in-law, Fred (Toni) Stanley of CA.In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kerri Ann Stanley; and brothers-in-law, Charles Stanley, Jim Stanley, Gerald Standley, Clyde Stanley, and Owen Stanley.Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Palestine Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026.Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.Jeremy Hunter will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
