Janet Teresa Gardella

Janet Teresa Gardella passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026. Born on August 26, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, to Mike and Stella Pinto, she lived a life marked by warmth, energy, and deep connection to those around her.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Gardella; her sons Peter, Michael, and Paul Gardella; her brothers John Pinto and Michael Pinto; her daughters-in-law Stacy, Deanna, and Maura; her grandchildren Sarah Henderson and her husband Brady, Jennifer Reutlinger and her husband Colton, Peter Gardella, Benjamin Gardella, and Teddy Gardella; and her great-grandchildren Anna and Stella Henderson and Addison and Walker Reutlinger. She was cherished by many other relatives and friends.

Janet embraced life with enthusiasm, always eager for a new outing or adventure. Her contagious laugh and genuine kindness made everyone she met feel like an old friend. A dedicated school teacher for nearly thirty years, she touched the lives of countless students. She also found joy in quiet moments spent with a good book or a favorite movie. Above all, she treasured being surrounded by her family, who in turn found their greatest happiness in surrounding her. Her vibrant spirit and the love she gave so freely will be deeply missed.
