Janet M. Berbach

Janet Berbach, age 83, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of the late Francis L. Berbach and the loving mother of Jeffrey F. (Shelley) Berbach and Timothy M. (Melissa) Berbach. Janet is also survived by her siblings Steve (Shelly) Hundzinski, Gloria Alderson, Lorna (the late Jack) Glass, and Elizabeth (Tom) Cepaitis, as well as her grandchildren Brittaney (Robert) Larkin, Sam (Ashley) Berbach, Megan (Cody) Rakowski, Luke Berbach, the late Ashley Berbach, Ben Berbach, Kaitlyn Berbach (Andy Horner), Mikayla (Jesse Duersch) Berbach, and a growing number of great-grandchildren.

Janet dedicated 50 years of her life to her nursing career at Allegheny General Hospital, where she cared for her patients with compassion and formed lifelong bonds with her coworkers. She was also an active member of the Civic League and took special care of the World War II Honor Roll on Spring Hill.
