Janet Jean Sullivan

Janet Jean Sullivan (née Collins), born January 28, 1935, passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. “Sully” Sullivan Jr. for 57 years. Janet was a devoted mother to Owen William (Deborah) Sullivan, Loraine M. (Richard III) Grimm, Stephen T. Sullivan, David McNicholas (Jennifer) Sullivan, and the late Dennis Sullivan.

She was the cherished grandmother of Kaelyn, Hannah, Camryn, R. William, Emily K., Cade M., and Nathaniel, and the adored great-grandmother of Remington, Brooks, George, Lelliana, and Ember. Janet was also the caring sister of the late Joan (Adolf “Bud”) Gortzig and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

An artist at heart, Janet saw the world as a canvas waiting to be filled. She was a beloved friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her beautiful and creative spirit.
