Nieradka, 89 of Paramus, NJ, formerly of North Creek, NY and Wood-Ridge, NJ, passed away on March 14, 2026. Born in New York, NY, she lived in Wood-Ridge for 50 years before retiring to North Creek, NY.Janet was predeceased by her husband Donald, her parents, Hazel Fenton and David Fenton and her brother David Fenton. Janet was a devoted mother of Susan Carney and her husband Ted of Rochelle Park, NJ, Steven Nieradka of Clifton Park, NY, Linda Williford of Queensbury, NY and Laura Kudlacik and her husband Michael of Emerson, NJ. Loving grandmother of Teddy and his wife Jessica, Christopher and his wife Jessica, Michael and his wife Samantha, Sean and his wife Katelyn, Cara, Kelsey and her husband Taylor, Kayla and her husband Devin, Ali, Katie and Michael. She was also a proud great grandma to eight great grandchildren.Janet was primarily a homemaker. She always would say that raising her children was the best time in her life. She was always actively making friends by becoming involved in numerous clubs and organizations throughout her life in both New Jersey and New York. Some of the organizations that she was involved with were the Adirondack Marathon Committee, Senior Citizens, Women's Society, Friends of the Library, Nursing Home Auxiliary, Quilting Club, Garden Club and the Red Hats, to name a few.Janet enjoyed snowmobiling, cross country skiing and summering at Schroon Lake. She was also an avid knitter and quilter. Janet enjoyed worldwide travel to places such as Russia, China, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. For the past several years, Janet really enjoyed playing cards and visiting with her friends at Sunrise.Janet was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. Janet will be forever missed by all those who knew and loved her.Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home.
