BLOOMINGDALE: Jan Griffin Shelton, born on October 16, 1961, in Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, at her residence.

Jan was a devoted Certified Trainer at Parker's, where she sincerely enjoyed her work and the connections she formed with her colleagues and customers alike. Her passion for her job was only rivaled by her love for family and cherished moments spent with them.

Jan's life was enriched by her love for travel, especially to the beach, and the companionship of her beloved cats. She also had a notable fondness for Hershey chocolate, a small pleasure that brought joy to her daily life. Jan was involved in Girl Scouts, a commitment that stands as one of her proudest accomplishments, reflecting her dedication to nurturing the growth and development of others.

Jan is preceded in death by her father, Leon Griffin; her brother, Edward Griffin; and her grandson, Korey Shelton.

She leaves behind a loving family that includes her husband, James Shelton; her mother, Robbie Nell Lewis; her daughters, Robin (Greg) Shelton-Mikell, Amanda (Irving) Harrison, and Nicole (Tony) Sainz; as well as her grandchildren, Mackenize, Katlyn, Jared, and Shayla (Cody); great-grandchildren, Logan, Kaidan, Syniah, Bently, Wes and Maddox; sister, Kathy Wilkerson, and she is remembered by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

As we remember Jan Griffin Shelton, we celebrate a remarkable woman whose legacy of love, dedication, and warmth will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
