It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Shuback of Middletown, New York, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jane Shuback to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Giza and Helen Wisniewski Giza; and her siblings, Stephen, Myron, Edward, Frank, Barney Giza, Blanche Todd, Elizabeth Poloniak, Helen Ferris, Julie Pahucki and Hedwig "Hattie" Pieczontka.

She is survived by: her children, Julie Martin, Audrey Smith, Elaine Conkling and Martin Shuback; her grandchildren, Meghan Christiano, Marissa Folchi, Matthias Wilberger, Forrest Wilberger, Jacob Conkling and Jillian Aluisio; and her great grandchildren, Julianna, Natalie, Alexa Christiano and Bryson Wilberger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the T. S. Purta Funeral Home (690 County Rd 1, Pine Island, NY 10969). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Stanislaus Church (17 Pulaski Hwy, Pine Island, NY 10969). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery (17 Pulaski Hwy, Pine Island, NY 10969).
