Jane McGirt

She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie McGirt; her daughters, Kathy McGirt and Jackie McGirt Chavis; her parents, Sam Clark and Della Lowery; and her siblings, Pearline "Nunk" Jacobs, Louise Locklear, Mary Ribble, Josephine "Sarah" Carpenter, Geneva Clark, Della Lee "Mammie" Ziegler, Sam Clark, Jr., Alford Clark, Howard Clark, Wesley Clark and Jessie James Clark.

She is survived by: her sons, Johnnie McGirt, Jr., Tony McGirt (Tammy) and Bruce McGirt; her son-in-law Roy Chavis; her grandchildren, Jacquline Chavis, Myranda Locklear, Ashley Chavis, Matthew McGirt, Revonda Locklear, Miles McGirt, Kirsten McGirt, Roy Chavis, Jr. and Jada Butler; and her niece Tammy Jacobs. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boles-Biggs Chapel (801 N Chestnut St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at the Oxendine Cemetery (781 Rennert Rd, Lumberton, NC 28358).
