Amy Jane Dalrymple Rollins Lance passed away in Braselton, Georgia, on March 13, 2026. Born on May 19, 1940, in Banks County, she spent most of her life in Franklin County as the daughter of the late Esco Dalrymple and Lucy Ruth Ayers Dalrymple.

A graduate of Carnesville High School who attended Truett McConnell College, Jane dedicated 41 years to the Franklin County School System. She served in many roles over the decades, including bus driver, paraprofessional, substitute teacher, transportation safety director, and administrative assistant in the Special Education Department. A lifelong Baptist, she was a faithful member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Winston Rollins and James Lance; her sister, Essie Ruth Ayers; and her nephew, Chris Ayers. She is survived by her sons, Steve Rollins (Rita), Scott Rollins, and Stanley Rollins (Dana); her sister, Ephemia Smith; her grandchildren, Justin Rollins (Ronda), Morgan Grover (Britt), Magen Rollins (Tanner), Britney Baldwin (Adam), Briana Beatty (Scooter), Samantha Rollins, Erin Rollins, and Jacob Rollins; and her great-grandchildren, Hunter Rollins, Jordyn Rollins, Mason Grover, Connor Grover, Emersyn Grover, Luke Grover, MaddieGrace Turner, Addison Baldwin, Hank Baldwin, Taylor Beatty, Sawyer Beatty, Adalynn Cordell, Delilah Mills, Robyn Mills, and Shanessa Maxwell. She is also survived by her niece, Vicki Pitts, and her nephew, Darrell Smith (Kay).
