Jane Helen Anderson
May 20, 1951— March 7, 2026
Sun Prairie, WI
Jane Helen Anderson, born on May 20, 1951, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, to the late Raymond and Virgelia (Beckman) Pamperin, passed away on March 7, 2026, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Florida.
Jane graduated from Juneau High School in 1969 and soon moved to Madison, where she began her career at Easter Seals while taking evening classes to earn an associate degree in accounting. She went on to enjoy a 44-year working career at the Wisconsin Medical Society and Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation, where she formed many lifelong friendships.
In February 1979, Jane met Jim Anderson. They married on July 21, 1984, and shared more than 40 years together. Jim introduced her to golf, a passion she embraced for the rest of her life. The couple cherished their property “up north” for the first 30 years of marriage before spending their winters in Florida for the last twelve years. There, Jane built a warm circle of friends and filled her days with biking, golfing, and lunches out.
Jane thrived on staying active and keeping her calendar full. She loved biking, golfing, playing games, and working on puzzles. Each year she looked forward to her trips to Door County, where she spent cherished weeks with her Wisconsin friends. She is survived by her siblings, Earl (Diane) Pamperin, Linda (Dave) Schaalma, Eileen (Morry) Schwandt, Raymond Pamperin, and Pauline (Fred) Witter, along with many nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, her parents, and her sisters, Yvonne and Lois.
