Jane Fogle ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder Funeral Homes, Denzer Chapel on Mar. 10, 2026.Jane Fogle, age 95 of Marion, passed away on March 9, 2026 at the Meadows of Marion surrounded by family.She was born on September 17, 1930, in Waldo, Ohio, the daughter of Harles "Pete" and Marguerette (McKendrick) Moyer. She graduated from Waldo High School in 1948. On August 8, 1954 she was united in marriage to James F. Fogle.Jane began her working career at the Marion Power Shovel. She later worked for Marion City Schools before retiring as the secretary at Emanuel Lutheran Church, where she faithfully served the congregation and community.Jane enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved reading cookbooks, building an extensive collection over the years. Above all, she loved her family and cherished the many family gatherings and time spent together.She will be remembered for her dedication and the love she shared with those around her.She is survived by her children: Pastor James L. (Heather) Fogle of Livonia, MI, Ann E. Evans of Marion and Barbara J. Saylor of Marion; grandchildren: Sara (Wade Shock) Friend, Mollie Shonk, Mandy Davis and Skipper (fiancé Kelsey Stief) Davis; great-grandchildren: Kelsey Friend, Rhea Shonk, Ethan Cress, Aria Shonk and Davis Leist; special family members Kristina and Zoe Bulan; also surviving is her special friend, Dolly Davis.Jane is preceded in death by her parents; husband James F. Fogle, and sisters: Clara Mae Wiseman, Mary Lou Laucher- Retterer and Louise Larcum.Visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2026 at Snyder Funeral Homes, Denzer Chapel, 360 East Center St., Marion from 1PM to 2PM; funeral service will follow at 2PM; burial will be in Waldo Cemetery.If desired, donations may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church, 241 S Prospect St, Marion, OH 43302.The family would like to give a special thank you to Joyce's Angels - Bessie and Brenda.The Snyder Funeral Homes of Marion are honored to serve the Fogle family; condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.SnyderFuneralHomes.comTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
