Jane Elizabeth "Beth" Myers

Jane Elizabeth “Beth” Myers, 62, of Rensselaer, Indiana, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, at George Ade Memorial Health Care Center in Brook, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on September 23, 1963, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Anna Moore and Denny Jo Hartwell, Beth was raised in Mount Ayr, Indiana. She graduated from North Newton High School in 1981 and spent her career in healthcare, first as a CNA and later in medical billing for a private practice before retiring. Beth cherished time with her family and friends. She had a special gift for making little children feel welcomed and loved, found joy in all kinds of music, and in her later years became active in her church. Those who knew her will remember her most for her wonderful sense of humor.

She is survived by her sons, Josh Myers of Columbus, Indiana, and Tyler Myers of Rensselaer, Indiana; her siblings, Judith Hartwell, Charlie Hartwell, Brenda (Dave) Robling, Rose Hartwell, Paul (Denise) Hartwell, and Roger Hartwell; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Denny Jo Hartwell, and her siblings, Ruth Van Liew, Dan Hartwell, Debrah Long, Walter Hartwell, and Joan Marie “Joani” Fritz.
