Jane Ann Crownover

Jane Ann Crownover was born in Geary, Oklahoma, on January 11, 1946, to Lorraine and Allen (A.R.) Smith. She passed peacefully at home on March 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Janie was preceded in death by her parents A.R. and Lorraine Smith, her brother Don Smith, her granddaughter Jenna Burton, and her niece Shanna Smith Ross. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Doyle Crownover, whom she met while they both worked at American Pre-Cast. She is also survived by her sister Sharon Wright, her sister Mariann and husband Randy Kornegay, her children Jay Sims and wife Pamela, Harl Sims and wife Connie, Judy Burton, Angie and husband Johnny Johnson, and Shelly and husband Ron Stebens, along with her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Janie’s deep Christian faith guided every aspect of her life. She owned and operated Marlow Real Estate for many years, earning a reputation for honesty and integrity, and served her community as president of the Marlow Chamber of Commerce. She cherished time outdoors fishing, gardening, walking her pets, and enjoying nature. She looked forward to her monthly lunches with her dearest high school friends, later inviting her daughter Judy to join them. Janie’s home was a welcoming place filled with laughter, where friends and family always felt loved. Known for her friendly spirit, she was always ready to brew a pot of coffee and listen with an open heart.

She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering love for her family, her faith, and her community. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
