He lived a truly long and fulfilling life, embracing the cherished titles of son, brother, devoted husband, loving father, adoring grandfather, and great-grandfather.Jamil was the beloved husband of Samia Karim Barash and the cherished brother of Sabbah Barash (Sawsan). He was a loving and dedicated father to Atheer Barash (the late Nada), Ban Barash Sattam (Essam), and Raghdan Barash (Dina). His legacy continues through his adoring grandchildren: Chris Marouf (Miranda), Justin Marouf (Amanda), Alanda Naji Talakar (Siavosh), Aleena Champion (Timothy), Selena Gould (Connor), Alexia Shallal (Stevan), and Delino Barash. He was also a treasured great-grandfather to Marcelino, Kristiana, Andoria, Milaina, Alaurian, Luke, Andavian, Gia, Ave Maria, and Ariella.Jamil was known as one of the kindest and most positive souls, always ready to share a laugh with everyone he met. His energy was boundless; he loved to stay active, whether riding his bike or climbing mountains in Arizona. His indelible wisdom, vibrant energy, genuine warmth, and joyful spirit will forever be a guiding light.He is joyfully reunited in heaven with his parents, Antoon and Wardeeya Barash; his late brothers, Saleem, Najeeb, Dawood, and Jalal Barash; and his grandchildren, Marvin Marouf and Donavin Barash.
