She was the daughter of the late Lee Swietzer Jr. and Bettie Jane (Reinsmith) Swietzer, and the beloved wife of the late Gary L. Oswald (d. 2017).A native of Toledo, Ohio, Jamie was a woman of remarkable grit and natural intellect. For many years as a single mother, she put her own dreams on hold to ensure her two sons had every opportunity to succeed. She navigated those lean years with a sharp, intuitive mind that far exceeded her formal training, ultimately proving her determination by returning to school later in life to graduate from L.C.C.C.Jamie's career as a dedicated Office Manager was a testament to her meticulous nature and reliability. She was a woman of clear convictions who found her greatest contentment in the tranquility of her home and the companionship of her cherished feline friend, Miss Sassy.Survivors: Sons, Timothy McFadden and Christopher McFadden; Gary's children, Jon Oswald and Jackie Foster; and her faithful companion, Miss Sassy.Arrangements: In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal services. Cremation and professional services are under the care of the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus, PA.Contributions: In memory of Jamie's lifelong love for animals, the family suggests donations to KittyMamas Sanctuary Rescue (kittymamassanctuaryrescue.com).To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
