James Wilson Dunkin, Jr. of Hanceville, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the age of 16.
Jay was only on this earth for 16 years, yet he touched more lives in that brief time than most people do in a lifetime. To know him was to love him. His gentle presence brought an instant smile to those around him without him even needing to speak. Though his family and friends will miss him deeply, they find comfort knowing he is no longer in pain and rests in the arms of the Lord.
He is survived by his parents, James Wilson Dunkin, Sr. and Ashley Brie Dunkin; his sisters, Ava Grace Dunkin and Nevaeh Jean Armstrong; his grandparents, Dewey and Donna Dunkin, Daniel and Kathy Malone, and Andrea Spitzer; along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
