He is survived by his loving family, including daughter LaRhonda (Ronnie) Morrow Drummond; and husband Jamon Drummond; his granddaughters Ariana Gregg and Ava Drummond; his great grandson Rowan Cobb; his sister Vermell Brown and brother Thomas Watson, as well as host of nieces and nephews.James loved his family and time shared together. He will be remembered for his story telling about memories from the past. He had a huge passion for the Lord and church. He enjoyed reading his bible and offering words of encouragement. His favorite quote was to say, "Life is to be Enjoyed".A memorial celebration of his life will be held on March 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Direct Cremation Services of Virginia.
