He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vick and Lila Hill Vick of Speed, NC.; and his wife Brenda Moore Vick. He is survived by: his daughter Dana; his son-in-law Jeff Bland; his grandsons, Damian Bland of Tarboro and Jonathan Bland (Venus) of Tarboro; his extended family, Greg Mosley of Tarboro and J. W.; Vanessa Pittman (Phil). He is also survived by niece he loved as his own daughter, along with many other close friends and extended relatives.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Home of Dana and Jeff Bland. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Tarboro Church of God (908 W St James St, Tarboro, NC 27886).
