JAMES S. SANDUSKY

James S. Sandusky, age 77, of Medina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

A devoted husband, Jim shared 55 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Joanne (nee Blandino). He was the loving father of Lisa LaGuardia (Matthew) and Scott Sandusky (Melissa), and the cherished grandfather of Sergei LaGuardia, Anastasia LaGuardia, Nico Sandusky, and Angelo Sandusky. He was the son of the late Steve and Agnes Sandusky, the brother of Connie Kappus (Jack), brother-in-law of Jeanette Subin, uncle of five, and a dear friend to many.

Jim served his country with pride as a veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabees during the Vietnam War. A 1967 graduate of Padua Franciscan High School, he went on to become a longtime business owner. He will be remembered for his steadfast character, his deep love for his family, and the quiet strength he brought to every part of his life. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
