James Robert Bruchert

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Robert Bruchert of West Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though James Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bruchert and Esther Bruchert (Nelson); his wife Mary Benoit; and his sons, Bobby Bruchert and Jimmy Bruchert.

He is survived by: his son William Bruchert (Mary) of West Lafayette, IN.; and his brother William Bruchert of Florida.
