James Randall Bramblett

James Randall Bramblett, age 62, of Okeechobee, Florida, and formerly of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026.

Born on July 19, 1963, in Dalton, Georgia, Randall was the son of the late James Douglas and Rosia Lavell Defoor Bramblett. He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Joyce Ann Bramblett; his grandparents, Clifford Otis and Emily Marie Joyce Defoor and Floyd Samuel and Ruth Elizabeth Posey Bramblett.

A quiet and private man, Randall lived life on his own terms and kept mostly to himself. He was remembered as good-hearted and independent, taking great pride in his work. A dedicated and reliable employee, he never missed a day and approached every task with consistency and integrity, earning the respect of his coworkers through his strong work ethic and his practice of minding his own business while getting the job done.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Chrissy and Allen Knight of Dalton, Georgia; aunts and uncles, Evelene Shugart and Wilma Bramblett, both of Resaca, Georgia, Billy Defoor, and Wendell and Kathy Defoor, all of Ellijay, Georgia; niece and nephews, Jennifer Bramblett of Dalton, Georgia, Josh Stone and Cody Stone, both of Resaca, Georgia; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many cousins.
