It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James R. Fahrenkopf (Ravena, New York), who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Fahrenkopf and Rita Fahrenkopf; his brothers, Nicholas (Mary Lou), Robert (Mary Lou) and Edward (Eileen); his son David (Pamela); and his grandson Michael (Betty Ann).

He is survived by: his close friend Joanne; his sister Mary Lou; his children, Louis IV (Nancy), Tracy (Steve), James "Jeep" (Joanne) and Stacey (Joseph); his grandchildren, Lexi (Mike), Hayden (Lyndsey), Collin (Allie), Juliet, Cole, Bianna, Louie and Kate; and his great grandchildren, Hudson and Oscar.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Babcock Funeral Home (19 Pulver Ave, Ravena, NY 12143). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
