James Neal Morrison V, born February 27, 1997, in Chesterfield, Missouri, passed away on March 14, 2026, in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. A man of resilience, dedication, exploration, and creativity, James approached every endeavor with hard work and determination. He held various positions throughout his life, often rising to leadership roles and devoting up to sixty hours a week to his final job.
Beyond his professional life, James pursued many passions with enthusiasm. He had a deep love for film, particularly the Marvel universe, and spent countless hours editing clips from the movies he cherished. He was also fascinated by Greek mythology, and one of the highlights of his life was a memorable cruise to Greece that included visits to Turkey and Croatia. Naturally gifted in music, he began with the violin and trombone before later embracing singing and guitar.
Those who knew James were touched by his selflessness, compassion, and unyielding determination. A fighter by nature and a practical joker at heart, he brought light and laughter to everyone around him. He is lovingly remembered by his father Jim (Tracy) Morrison IV, his mother Beth Hamilton, his brother Reuben Morrison, and his grandparents Jim Morrison III and Karen Morrison, as well as Janice Whitt and Michael Whitt. He also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold his memory dear. He was preceded in death by his uncle Brandon Whitt and many cherished great-grandparents.
