James "Jimmy" Maurice White

James "Jimmy" Maurice White, 63, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Old Center Cemetery, in Danville, with Rev. Roger Aldridge officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.Born on May 7, 1962, to James White and Jessica Roberts , Jimmy was a local brick mason and an over the road 18-wheeler truck driver for 40 plus years. He enjoyed going to Jake's Drag Strip, working on his muscle cars, grilling, riding his Harley, and spending time with his family and friends.Survivors include his children, Sharon Johnson, Samantha (James) Johnson, Nicholas White, and Kimberly (Bradley) Terry; grandchildren, Brooklyn Johnson, Zachary (Tori) Terry, Michael Terry, Camryn Terry, and Paislee Terry; great-grandchild, Emersyn Terry; brother, Jason White; step-mother, Annette White; his dogs, Bella and Dodge Ram; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Lisa Osborn White; father, James White; mother, Jessica Stazer; grandmother, Maw Maw B; and sister, Charlsie Hinton-Roberts.Pallbearers will be Zachary Terry, Michael Terry, Jason White, Nicholas Osborn, James Louviere, Marvin Osborn, Andy Weeks, Jeffrey "Leandog" White, Patrick Duke, and Buddy Cole.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses of Jimmy, by clicking the "donate now" at the bottom of the screen.
