James Lovel Tomblin

James Lovel Tomblin, 49, of Sissonville, West Virginia, passed away on February 23, 2026. Born on June 20, 1976, he was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Tomblin, and his father, James Tomblin.

James is survived by his son, Brandon Tomblin; his sisters, Lorie Mobley and Tammy Shamblin; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.

For most of his life, James worked as an iron worker. He found his greatest contentment in the quiet rhythms of home, caring for the animals on his small farm and spending hours in his garage, where he was always fixing, building, or improving something with his skilled hands. He held a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the satisfaction of honest, hard work.

He will be remembered fondly by all whose lives he touched.
