He is survived by: his wife Myra Wade Norton; his son James Eric Norton (Ashley Lynn); his sisters, Joan Sheryl Willingham (Dale), Linda Tallent (Emory) and Karen Fletcher (David); and his grandchildren, Lyndee Norton and Asher Norton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at the Summerville Cemetery (110 Highland Ave, Summerville, GA 30747).
