James Kent Highlands, 83, of Twinsburg, passed away on March 7, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Highlands.
A lifelong man of quiet strength and integrity, James served his country with honor and carried those same values of duty and devotion into his family life. He shared a deep and abiding love with Jean, and together they built a life centered on commitment, loyalty, and the simple joys of being together.
James will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima, Ohio, where military honors will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026. He leaves behind family and friends who will remember him with great respect and affection.
