James “Jim” Blunt

James “Jim” Blunt, of Lake Park, passed away on March 11, 2026, following a short illness. Born on July 27, 1956, in Valdosta, Georgia, to Nancy Blunt and the late Thurston Blunt, Jim took great pleasure in feeding his community through his work at Crackin Good Bakery, where he often brought home baked goods for family and friends. He found quiet joy in tending his garden and caring for the yard around his home.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diane Blunt; his daughter, Carolyn Coody (Tyler) of Pinetta, Florida; his son, JT Blunt (Kaitlyn) of Washington County; and his grandchildren, Mollie and Ellisyn Coody, and Ruby and Owen Blunt. He is also survived by his mother, Nancy Blunt of Valdosta, Georgia.

Jim was preceded in death by his father and his brothers, Mike and Charlie Blunt.
