Bensalem, PA
James J. Leible, 61, of Bensalem, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on September 21, 1964, in Bayside, New York, to the late Dolores Jane (McCormick) and Theodore Robert Leible, Jim lived in Bensalem for the past 26 years.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1986 and served as captain of the football team. He went on to build a distinguished career as Chief Executive Officer of Clinical Engineering Services, Inc. for more than 25 years. He held a deep passion for jazz music and enjoyed playing guitar, loved to cook for his family, and took great pleasure in sharing meals together. A proud member of the Syracuse Letterman Club and the Annual Ocean City Golf Crew, he cherished the laughter and camaraderie these friendships brought. His enthusiasm for college football and basketball was infectious, turning every game day into a special occasion.
Above all, Jim was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Deirdre (Honan) Leible, and their children, James A. Leible, Paul J. Leible, Jane E. Leible, and Thomas J. Leible. He found his greatest joy in supporting his children at their games and sharing laughter around the dinner table. Known for his playful pranks and quick wit, Jim was the life of any gathering. He is also survived by his siblings, Paul A. Leible (Brenda), Elaine Cook, John M. Leible (Nancy), and Claire Riccardi, his cherished mother-in-law, Philomena Honan, and many loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore James Leible.
