James J. “Jim” Moran, III

James J. “Jim” Moran, III, age 80, of Santa Barbara, California, formerly of Hanover and Roxbury, Massachusetts, passed away after a life marked by quiet strength and deep family devotion. He was the beloved son of the late James J. and Ruth (Reagan) Moran, Jr. A devoted brother, Jim is survived by his siblings Robert P. “Bob” Moran and his friend Linh Sam of Goleta, California, Kathleen R. Moran of Maryland, and William J. Moran of Quincy, Massachusetts. He was also the cherished uncle of Michael and Erin.

Jim’s presence brought steadiness and warmth to those closest to him. Whether in his longtime home in Santa Barbara or during years spent in Massachusetts, he remained a steadfast figure in the lives of his family, offering quiet support and genuine care throughout the decades. His memory will be tenderly held by the brothers, sister, and niece and nephew who knew him best.
