He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Silcox and Lennie Kirkland Silcox. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Silcox; his daughter Barbara Silcox Dekich (Neal); his granddaughter Jenna Dekich; and his brother Gary Silcox.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
