Born in Greer, he was the son of Nancy Strong Taylor and James Holcombe Taylor, Jr. He formerly was employed with Chick-Fil-A in Spartanburg. Jimmy liked music, playing video games and taught himself the Japanese language.Survivors also include two nephews, Michael Taylor Sims and Jacob Saxon Sims; a brother-in-law, Michael Sims; his aunts and uncles, Vivian Strong Klebs, Bradley Klebs, Evelyn and Harold Weast and Diane Vaughn; and a number of cousins.
