James Erik Branam

March 2, 1973 March 15, 2026

James Erick Branam passed away after living a life marked by adventure, deep love for his family, and a steadfast commitment to kindness. A passionate pilot and motorcycle enthusiast, he embraced every opportunity for freedom and joy, whether soaring through the skies or riding the open road. His warm sense of humor and steady presence made those around him feel safe, valued, and truly loved.

Above all, James was a devoted family man. He was a loving husband to Jennifer Branam and a proud father to Madison Branam, Briahanna Hatcher and her husband Kyle Hatcher, Brooklyn Alshaberh and her fiancé Amit Taank, and Brandon Branam and his wife Harley Branam. He cherished his role as grandfather to Addelynn Hatcher, Casein Hatcher, Lincoln Hatcher, Eva Alshaberh, Kenna Garibaldo, Nicole Branam, Annamae Branam, and Maverick Branam, finding endless joy and pride in each of them. He lived by the words he often shared with those closest to him: to always stay humble and kind.

He was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Ethel Branam, grandparents Lorraine and Lloyd Smith, and aunt Sandra Sexton. James is survived by his father Warren Branam and stepmother Joyce Branam, his brother Rodney Branam, his wife Jennifer, his children and grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.

His life was one of laughter, adventure, and unwavering love, and those who knew him will continue to feel the gentle guidance of his example for years to come.
