James Elmer Walker

Jim was a truly kind and selfless man who deeply loved his family. He lived his life putting others before himself, always ready with a helping hand, a gentle word, or quiet encouragement. His life was a reflection of his faith, and those who knew him saw a genuine example of Christ-like love, humility, and compassion.

Family meant everything to Jim. He cherished the time he spent with those he loved and took great joy in seeing his family grow. His steady presence, wisdom, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was also known for his wonderful sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh, brightening countless moments with family and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Edna Davis Walker, his brother, Charles Walker, and his wife, Ina Ruth Walker. He is survived by his son, Jimmy Walker and wife Judy of Lutz, Florida; grandchildren Doug, Melissa, Denton, Monica, Carman, Sean, and Corey; and nine great-grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and all whose lives he touched.
