James Ed "Tiger" Griffin Obituary March 13, 2026 - Talbott Funeral Home

James Ed “Tiger” Griffin, age 69, of Albany, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026. Son of the late James Arthur and Lillie Maxine Griffin, he leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory.

He is survived by his four children, Stacy (Johny) Murphy, James Griffin, Joseph McKay Griffin, and Matthew Griffin; two grandchildren, Callie Melton and Haley Melton; two siblings, Jeff Griffin and Debbie (Mark) Lowhorn; and special friends Becky Masiongale and Jessica Davis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his uncle, “Wild” Bill Brown.

Tiger lived a full life surrounded by the people he cared for most. His presence brought warmth and character to every gathering, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
