James E. “Jim" Moore, Jr.

James E. “Jim” Moore, Jr. passed away on March 5, 2026, in The Villages, Florida. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, he proudly served in the Air Force before raising his family in Palatine, Illinois.

Jim was the beloved husband of the late Patricia “Trish” (née Hogan) Moore and the loving father of Robert and William Moore. He was the dear son of the late James and Rosemary (née Anderson) Moore, and the fond brother of Patrick, Thomas (Eileen) Moore, Daniel (Jeanne) Moore, Susan (James) Blake, Terrence (Elizabeth) Moore, David (Teresa) Moore, the late Robert Moore, and the late Mary (Christopher Jans) Galbavy. He was a beloved uncle to many.

Jim will be fondly remembered as the patriarch of the Moore family, a man whose warmth and incredible generosity touched the lives of his great-nieces and great-nephews.
