James E. Desilets

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Desilets of Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Desilets and Edna Desilets (Snow); and his sister June O. Kassiotis. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Desilets (Dwyer) of Conway; his sons, Richard J. Desilets (Danielle) of Lynn, Timothy E. Desilets (Danielle) of Salem and Daniel P. Desilets (Amy) of Peabody; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Madison, Daniel and Juliana.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home (157 Maple St, Lynn, MA 01904). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery (145 Boston St, Lynn, MA 01904).
