James David Register

James David Register, 78, of Rydal, Georgia, died on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. A native of Bartow County, he worked as a Bartow County bus mechanic and truck driver before retiring. He found great joy in spending time with his family, fishing, photography, and working in his garage.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roman Register, his mother, Vera Register, and his sisters, Ellen Register, Hazel Madinger, Ann Stewart, and Faye Lambert.

James is survived by his wife, Diane Register of Rydal; his daughter, Donna Abbott; his son, Andrew Register; his grandsons, Cody Abbott, Nathan Abbott, and Roman Register; his sister, Evelyn Willis; his brother, Curtis Register; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life was held at Northpointe Church in Adairsville, Georgia, on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
