Commercial St. Haskell, Oklahoma. Services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at the Pavilion at Haskell Cemetery.James David Coffman, known affectionately as David by his friends and family, passed away peacefully on the 6th of March 2026, at the age of 81, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by his loving family. David was born on November 29, 1944, in Haskell, Oklahoma, to the late Eunice and Earl Coffman.David married the love of his life, Dorothy, on October 26, 1963, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond and a legacy of cherished memories. David's life was marked by his steadfast dedication to his work and the communities he was part of. He devoted 18.5 years to Armco Steel, where his work ethic and camaraderie were evident to all who knew him. Following his tenure at Armco, he committed over 20 years to Oklahoma Truck Supply, where his expertise and genuine care for both the business and his colleagues flourished. David's professional life was a testament to his reliability and the respect he held for the dignity of hard work.He leaves behind his loving family, Dorothy Coffman wife, daughter Dana and Jewell Hardee Jr., daughter Karen and Brian English; grandchildren Tiffany English, Ashley and Haley Baker, Jonathan and Ariana Hardee, and Nathan Hardee; and great granddaughter Kennedy Baker.David's passions extended beyond his professional endeavors; he loved to fish, finding solace and joy in the tranquility of nature. His love for camping and traveling led him to explore the great outdoors, where he reveled in the beauty of creation and the simple pleasures of a life well-lived. These interests allowed him to connect with others who shared his love for adventure and the environment, creating lasting friendships and unforgettable experiences.Those who knew David would describe him as the epitome of love, kindness, and thoughtfulness. His presence was a source of comfort and strength to his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His laughter, warmth, and generous spirit were the hallmarks of his character and will resonate with those he has left behind.David's life was a beautiful tapestry of devotion to his family, unwavering faith, and a commitment to living a life that honored the values he held dear. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary man, we find comfort in the memories he has given us, the lives he has touched, and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
