James D. Pazdernik, 82, of New Salem, died on March 9, 2026.

Born and raised in the New Salem area, Jim lived a quiet and faithful life rooted in the community he called home. He remained an active member of St. Pius V Catholic Church, where his presence and devotion were long appreciated by family and friends alike.

He is remembered as a man of steady character and deep commitment to his faith. James is survived by his loving family, who will carry forward the values and memories he shared with them throughout his eighty-two years.
