He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Elizabeth McDuffie; and his father-in-law Ralph Tyson. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia McDuffie; his daughter Mandy Hall (Tim); his grandson Lawson; his mother-in-law Kay Tyson; and his pet Shelby. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reeves Funeral Home (3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, NC 28348). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at the Lafayette Memorial Park (2301 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
